In brief: Minutezilla has three roles: admin, manager and member. The role decides who can see and change what – checked on the server.
Roles and permissions for admins, managers and members
Everyone in a workspace has a role: admin, manager or member. The role decides what someone can see and change – checked on the server, not just in the interface.
The three roles
Admin
Manages the workspace: team, roles, absence types, leave balances and overtime settings.
Manager
Approves leave requests, corrects attendance entries and sees the team’s HR reports.
Member
Tracks their own time and attendance, requests leave and sees their own data.
How roles protect your data
Permissions are checked on the server with every request. Anyone who may not use a function cannot reach it by a detour either.
Assign roles in the team
Admins set each person’s role in team management. Nobody can downgrade their own role.
No self-approval
Leave requests are approved by another authorised person, never by the requester.
Projects by invitation
Anyone added to a project receives an email invitation and can accept or decline it.
Clear responsibilities
Each role only sees the areas it needs for its work, which keeps the interface tidy.
